This Poem was written for mum after she passed. A Poem for Sue Sue my child come here to me, it’s time you sat to rest. I know your life has been quite hard, and certainly not the best. But you showed great strength, in certain things along the way. And even though it might seem tough, you got back home today. Life is lessons we want to learn and things we need to understand. And it seems to me you choose it hard, but you got it under hand. I know you think you let folk down, and even yourself at times. But your heart belonged to yesteryear, and your soul knew no crimes. Yes Sue my child come sit, hold my hand, see what you have got. Come watch your little ones, Ciara Charlie and little Charlotte. Look down upon your family, and watch them weep for you. Their love lifts up and cradles you, and cleans you all anew. The time is now, and lessons learned, have come to pass my dear. And now you will feel quiet lifted, and light of heart and mind, No more will you need to suffer, and no more will you feel guilt. Because from here on, your heart and soul will reap what you have built. Lessons are a must in life, because we need to grow. Within us is the energy to spread and cleanse and sow. And if we manage to help just one other soul to breath, Then our energies increase with love and have lessen time to grieve.
